Job Description

Our Bar Assistants main focus is on Customer Service, ensuring a high level of customer care for all guests visiting our clubhouse, ensuring they are served in a timely manner and made to feel welcome. The daily duties of the role will vary dependent on the customers will include serving guests behind the bar, waiting tables in our bistro, collecting glasses and clearing tables as well as assisting in the kitchen from time to time.

Our Entertainment Coordinator will assist with all these duties above but will also be in charge of our weekend entertainment, running in-house entertainment on a Friday night (including Bingo, Quiz’s and Karaoke) coordinating live acts booked for Saturday nights and offering any entertainment for children as required.

The Bar & Bistro team are responsible for cleaning the clubhouse during their shift to make sure all customer facing areas are clean and presentable as well as keeping the back areas clean and orderly.
Due to the nature of the tourism business, a flexible approach is required to enable the high levels of customer care to be achieved by all. This may often result in a change in daily tasks, an alteration of working hours and good working relationships to work as a team to produce the desired outcome. All Bar & Bistro positions will have varied hours to meet the needs of our business but will be a minimum of 16 hours per week worked with 40+ hours worked during school. Wage will be dependent on age.





  • Must be 18 or over as serving alcohol
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Weekend working is essential
