Terms & Conditions

Your booking

When you make a booking a contract is formed between Blairgowrie, Lomond Woods, Corriefodly, Deeside and Campsie Glen Holiday Parks (us) and the customer (you) once we have accepted your initial payment whether it is a deposit or the full payment (if it is less than 56 days before the start of the holiday).  Below are the terms and conditions of that contract.



Alterations – Once you have confirmed your booking you cannot change any of the details without our agreement. In these circumstances we will do our best to help make minor alterations in advance of your holiday, however charges may apply - please check with the park direct or call our Head Office team.  Once you have received your booking confirmation, if there is any information which is incorrect, then you must inform us straight away in order to try to rectify any errors.  



Cancellations – We recommend that you take out insurance cover for your holiday - once you have paid your deposit you have entered into a contract and are liable for the full holiday cost even in the event of cancellation.  If you wish to cancel your holiday please contact the park direct, then confirm your cancellation in writing either by post or email.  We will then confirm your cancellation by letter.



Paying

When you make a booking we require an initial non-refundable deposit of £100 (£200 for a fortnight) in order to confirm the booking.  We then require the full payment no later than 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date (Please note, no reminder will be sent).  If you make your booking within 8 weeks of the start date we will require full payment for your holiday at the time of booking.  If the balance of your payment is not received 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday we will assume that you no longer require the accommodation and we reserve the right to cancel/re-let it.

Methods of payment

We can accept payment by debit and credit card (2% credit charge applies on all payments), Bacs payments and by cheque (unfortunately we cannot accept a cheque payment 4 weeks prior to the arrival date of your booking).  The 2% credit card charge will be added over and above the total holiday cost quoted at the time of booking and charged on all payments of deposits or balances.

Prices

All prices stated are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Prices are subject to change.

Special Offers

All offers and bookings are subject to availability.  Only one special offer applies per booking.

Your Group

Primarily we run a family holiday park.  Only those persons listed with the booking can occupy your holiday accommodation.  We reserve the right to ask any persons not listed to leave the park at any time.



Number of People

The number of people in your group (including children) must not exceed the maximum capacity of the holiday accommodation.  A maximum of one infant, sleeping in a cot, under the age of 2 years may be accommodated over and above the maximum capacity, subject to the Parks' discretion.



Single Sex and Non-Family Groups

We do not normally accept single sex or non-family groups.  If you wish to make this type of booking you must contact our reservations team on Tel: 01250 878124 to discuss details further.  We have the right to refuse your booking.  Sorry no Hen & Stag parties permitted.



Your age

To make a booking you must be over 18.  We do not normally accept bookings where more than half the party is aged 17-25.  If this is the case you must contact the park before you attempt to make a booking as we have the right not to accept it.



Children

Children must be supervised whilst on the park and are the responsibility of their parent or guardian during their stay.  Never allow children to play near or in the stream/river, as there are areas of deep water.  Football should not be played anywhere on the park. Other ball games should be played away from caravans & Lodges using a soft foam ball.  Children should not be playing on the play area after 10pm.



Dogs

Some of our holiday accommodation is particularly set aside for dog owners with a maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation.  We reserve the right to decline certain breeds of dog so details must be given at the time of booking.  There is a charge to bring your dog(s) on holiday with you, to check availability and pricing please use our online availability checker or contact our reservations team.  Any customer who has not revealed the fact that they have brought their pet on holiday and has not booked into a dog specific accommodation will be asked to move units or leave the park.  We can offer some pet free units, please specify at time of booking – not guaranteed. 



Dog rules

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst on the park.  Dog owners must clean up after them using the bins provided.  Dogs are not allowed in the play area, and must not be left unattended in the holiday accommodation, or on the park.



Visitors

All visitors must report to reception on their arrival and check parking regulations with reception. 



Driving

There is a speed limit on the park of 10mph, which must be adhered to.  Vehicles are driven onto the park at your own risk and we are not responsible for loss or damage.  We allow a maximum of 2 cars to be parked alongside each holiday accommodation.  Additional cars may be parked in main forecourt – charges apply.  



Please note: Lomond Woods operates a one way system with security barriers. You will be provided with a fob on check in which will allow you access through the entry barrier between 8 am and midnight (10pm winter). Parking is available in the main forecourt after hours, allowing you to access your accommodation on foot. Motorhomes require to be back on their pitch within barrier hours and should not be parked in the car park overnight please. You may leave the park at any time by approaching the exit barrier slowly. Sufficient fobs are provided for the number of parking spaces available with your booking i.e. 1 per touring pitch, 2 for holiday homes. Additional parking should be arranged with reception.   



Arrival

Your accommodation will be available from 4pm on the day of your arrival.  Latest arrival is 8pm. If you think you are going to be later than this time, please contact the park in advance of your journey to try to make alternative arrangements.  Please note that if your request cannot be met, then accommodation will be available for arrival after 9am the following day.



Departure

You must vacate your holiday accommodation by 10.00am on the day of your departure. If however you require a later check-out, please contact reception prior to the day of your departure and we will do our best to make arrangements. Otherwise late departure charges may be incurred.

Special Requests or Requirements

If you have any special requirements or requests regarding your stay with us, such as pet free accommodation, late arrival, group requests etc then please notify our Team at the time of booking so that we can do our best to accommodate you.  Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we are unable to guarantee your request, however we endevour to do our best to meet these requests as often as possible.

Awnings

For licensing and safety purposes we do not permit anyone to stay overnight in an awning.  The awnings permitted on our parks shall not be of the types which incorporate sleeping accommodation.  You are responsible for declaring the size and type of awning you wish to erect at the time of booking.   If anyone is found to be using an awning for accommodation purposes we reserve the right to ask them to leave the park and no refund will be issued.

Security Deposit

A Security Deposit of £50 (£100 Larches Deluxe & Hot Tub Lodges) may be requested on arrival to ensure the accommodation is left in the same condition as it was found.



No Smoking

Please note all our holiday homes are "No Smoking"



Use of accommodation: At the end of your holiday you must leave everything in a clean, tidy and undamaged condition.  You are responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during your stay.  We reserve the right to enter your accommodation under special circumstances or emergencies, without prior notice to the customer.



Optional Extras

(Available in all of our holiday homes) We will be happy to supply any of the following, which should be booked and paid with your deposit to ensure availability:



*Baby cots with linen - £12  (Please note that cots do not fit into the bedrooms of all units and may need to be used in the lounge). 



*High chairs - £10



*Boat Storage - £20 (Lomond Woods Holiday Park Only)

Restrictions

*Jet skis, motorised scooters, commercial vehicles & vans are not permitted on the Parks.  If you are uncertain if this restriction applies, please contact the park direct or our Head Office team prior to making your booking.

*We would appreciate no noise between 10pm and 8am music should always be played quietly.

*We do not allow open fires on the park. Please ensure all barbeques are raised off the grass and wooden decks thank you.

Your Personal Possessions

You are responsible for your own personal possessions on the park or in your accommodation and we are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft to these.



Your behaviour

We run a family holiday park and if the management considers your behaviour to be offensive, illegal, disruptive or inappropriate we will ask you to leave.  No refund will be given in these circumstances.



Brochure & Website

We have taken great care to ensure the accuracy at the time of publication of our brochure and continuously with the website, however information and prices may have changed by the time you book.  We will do our best to notify you of any changes to, or inaccuracies in any information contained in our brochure or website as soon as possible after we become aware of that change or inaccuracy.  However we shall not be held liable if any facilities become unavailable.
